On introduction to your instructor you will be asked to produce your provisional driving license and paper counterpart. You must have both parts for the lesson to commence.

  Your instructor will check your eyesight by asking you to read a vehicle registration number plate at a distance of 20.5m or 67ft. If you are unable to read the number you are not legally allowed on the road and the lesson will be cancelled until your vision is corrected.If you wear glasses in the normal course of your day, please wear them for driving.

 

It is advisable that you wear comfortable shoes for your lessons.

  If you have not driven before you will probably be taken a short distance to somewhere quiet to start your first lesson. This will involve familiarizing you with the controls etc.

If you are taking medication that may effect you, consult your doctor that you are able to drive.
